- 4-Hour CE Course: Required if you have been licensed for less than 15 years
- 2-Hour CE Course: Available if you have been continuously licensed for 15 years or more
- CE must be completed before your license renewal date (every 2 years)

Texas Barber & Cosmetology 4-Hour CE Course
Complete continuing education course covering sanitation, human trafficking awareness, and professional practices. Required for licensees with less than 15 years of experience.

About TDLR Continuing Education
Requirements
- CE must be completed each renewal period (every 2 years)
- 1 CE hour = 50 minutes of actual instruction
- Minimum 1 hour of sanitation training required
- Minimum 1 hour of human trafficking awareness required
After Completion
- Certificate emailed to you immediately
- We report completions to TDLR immediately
- Keep your certificate for at least 2 years
- We send renewal reminders every 2 years
